The summary: we collect your email only if you give it to us, anonymous usage analytics to understand what readers find useful, and nothing else. We never sell data.
What we collect
Email address — only when you subscribe to the newsletter or ask for quiz results by email, along with which page you signed up from. Unsubscribe links appear in every email and take effect immediately.
Usage analytics — page views, search terms, and clicks on product and retailer links, in aggregate. We use this to decide what to test next, not to profile individuals.
Quiz answers — stored anonymously, without any account or identifier, to improve the recommendations.
What we never do
Sell or rent your data, run third-party ad trackers, or require an account to browse. Retailer links open the retailer’s site, where their privacy policy takes over.
